Shoot Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment

Upon booking, Little Luma will reserve the time and date agreed upon. The non-refundable shoot deposit is to be paid at the time of booking to secure your shoot. The remaining balance will be due on your shoot date via cash or card at our studio. Unless otherwise stated, all fees that are quoted to you by us are inclusive of VAT, if applicable. Images will not be uploaded for Client viewing unless full payment is made after the shoot.

Purchases of eGift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Expiry dates will apply.

2. The Photo Shoot​​

Please note all of our shoots use flash photography. Due to the nature of our style of photography, we cannot guarantee any particular outcomes or guarantee the fulfilment of any specific requests. During the session, for safety reasons the client is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their child/children. If equipment is damaged or broken due to negligent behaviour, damages will incur a fee.

A parent or guardian must be present at all times when we are photographing children. You must not take any photographs during the Photo Shoot without first obtaining permission from Little Luma.

Following your photo shoot, your shoot images will be uploaded to 'Your Gallery' on www.littleluma.co.uk. We aim to have Your Gallery ready within 7 days of the photo shoot date, but during busy periods this time frame may be extended. Your Gallery will be subject to password-protection. Only you may access Your Gallery, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any password we provide and you may not disclose your password to any other person.

The number of photographs in Your Gallery will vary from session to session. Little Luma retains the right to edit the photographs and omit any image. All images will be adjusted for skin blemishes, exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. Little Luma's judgement regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward to the Client for preview shall be deemed correct.

3. Cancellation/Rescheduling

Except in extenuating circumstances and in our sole discretion, Little Luma does not accept cancellations of booked shoots. If this does happen, the shoot deposit remains non-refundable. Shoot rescheduling is available on www.littleluma.co.uk under Your Bookings.

Please do not attend the shoot if you or anyone else attending becomes ill. Contact Little Luma with as much notice as possible and we will make every effort to reschedule.

4. Limit of Liability
​
In the unlikely event that Little Luma is injured, becomes too ill, or has an emergency that prevents them from carrying out the photo session booked, Little Luma will make arrangements to re-schedule the session. If a suitable day for reschedule is not agreed upon, the Client agrees that responsibility and liability of Little Luma to the Client is limited to the return of all payments received for the Photo Shoot Package. In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the Photographer’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, Little Luma's liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the photo shoot package.​

5. Re-Shoots
​
Upon viewing samples of Little Luma's work, you have decided to invest in Little Luma's services, because you are confident Little Luma can give you results which you will cherish. Little Luma does not hold responsibility for client regret over wardrobe choice, location choice, prop choice etc. In the unlikely event that the finished product from a portrait session is unusable due to technical problems, (camera failure or technical issues), Little Luma will reshoot at no additional charge.

6. Digital Images, Prints and Copyright
​
The 1998 Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act assigns copyright to and remain the property of Luma Content Ltd, trading as Little Luma applying to all images. You, as the client, are obtaining images for personal use only, and shall not sell images or authorise any reproductions by parties other than Little Luma. Prints for publication (such as editorial, public relations or advertising use) require prior written consent from Little Luma. Without our prior consent, you undertake not to (a) use any Artwork Product or digital images that are provided to you for any commercial purpose, or (b) crop, resize, edit, manipulate or otherwise alter any Artwork Product or digital image provided to you. ​​

7. Storage of images
​
Original digital images are archived for 1 year, after which time they may be subject to deletion without notice.

8.Liability
​
​We maintain professional indemnity insurance and we make every effort to ensure that your Photo Shoot is a safe and enjoyable experience and that you receive Photographs you will cherish.
